ABOUT

your unique violinistic journey

Pros and cons of a technique system? Systematically learn a piece quicker?

Having to relearn my technical approach every time I met a teacher that preferred different ideals, I DREAMED of a database of free scores that would guide me on practicing, coupled with posts that would comprehensively compile all the pros and cons of each school of violin technique and give me the freedom of choice for what personally suits me!

NO to endless hours of research, only to find yet another "violin school" textbook I had never heard of: YES to a SINGLE page telling me everything, including which technical school suits which repertoire, what etudes would work on certain "difficult" repertoire excerpts, and how to build my technique using tips from all the different schools!

This is for us violinists out there looking to SAVE TIME, and for learners of all ages:

Happy discovering!

Did we forget something?
Is there a scale/etude system you'd like us to write about?

Did we miss out on something when we claimed that we wanted to make a SINGLE page for "everything"?

If you are the proud owner of a scale system / etude book / pedagogical method that even we haven't set our eyes upon, or yet covered, feel free to comment to contribute your valuable insights on your rare find with ALL of our readers! :)

If you or someone you know have/has written a new syllabus/created a new platform and would like us to share an honest page feature on the website with all of our members, contact us at:
